As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

The names and email addresses entered in the Alternativas journal website will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this publication and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
In accordance with personal data protection regulations, the journal guarantees that:
- Purpose of Processing: Registration data for authors, reviewers, and readers (names, institutional affiliations, emails, and ORCID iDs) will be used solely for editorial management, peer review, publication alerts, and the indexing of articles in scientific databases.
- Confidentiality: The Editorial Team commits to maintaining strict confidentiality regarding the information provided and will not transfer, sell, or commercialize the data with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes.
- Users' Rights: Users registered in the OJS system retain the right to access, rectify, update, or request the deletion of their personal data from our platform at any time by sending a direct request to the journal's technical support.
